I had a plan to grow out my hair to chop it all off and donate and loved every style throughout the process. I had an incredible experience at Homecoming Salon. From the moment I walked in, the space felt welcoming, peaceful, and beautifully curated. The front desk staff was kind and informative, and everything ran smoothly. I saw Blaire for a haircut, and I truly can’t say enough good things about her. I’ve had past experiences where stylists didn’t know how to handle my mixed-texture hair, so I came in with a bit of anxiety. But Blaire immediately put me at ease. She listened closely, offered thoughtful suggestions, and brought my vision to life—while adding her own creative touch that made the final result even better than I imagined. Blaire is incredibly kind, genuine, and talented. I left the salon feeling like the best version of myself—confident, vibrant, and completely seen. She also gave me super practical care tips and product recommendations that have already made a difference in how I manage my hair day-to-day. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets it—someone who can elevate your style while honoring who you are—Blaire is that person. She’s intuitive, thoughtful, incredibly skilled, and just a deeply kind person. I’m so grateful I found her!!!!

I've been a loyal client of Homecoming Salon for years, and I can honestly say it's one of the best salons in NYC. The vibe is everything—hip and modern without being pretentious. It’s stylish, welcoming, and always has a chill, down-to-earth energy that makes every visit something to look forward to. I see Rachel for color and Blaire for cut/style and they are incredible. Rachel is a world-class colorist—literally! She gets flown around the globe for major fashion weeks and to work with celebrities, but she’s so friendly and grounded that you’d never guess it. I trust her completely, and she always nails the color I’m going for—whether it’s a bold change or a subtle refresh. Blaire is an absolute star—creative, thoughtful, and just so fun to work with. They have an amazing eye and always bring a fresh perspective to cuts and styles. I love how both Rachel and Blaire take the time for really thorough consultations. They truly listen and collaborate, whether you want something fashion-forward and edgy or classic and timeless. Everyone at Homecoming is welcoming and cool, and you always leave feeling a little more like yourself—just elevated. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Mallory is great! As somebody with curly hair who has had trouble in the past finding a stylist to cut my hair, Mallory listens and understands what I ask for and executes perfectly every time! She takes her time and is attentive during the entire process. Homecoming, as a salon in general, is an extremely pleasant environment, and everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. I’ve been going here for at least a year now and have always walked out extremely happy with my experience and, most importantly, my haircut!

Bri did an amazing job with my color. It was my first time doing any kind of color process, so she walked me through options that would maintain the health of my hair as well as how to manage it post care. She was fantastic at interpreting the color I described and worked with me on my ideal placement. I ended up with a beautifully blended warm chocolate highlight that I’m obsessed with! Going into my appointment, I was extremely nervous about whether the highlight would suit me and if I’d like it, but Bri absolutely nailed the color and gave me the perfect highlights to accent my natural hair. Love her! So glad I trusted her with my vision and found a color specialist I can keep going back to in NYC!
